A Liberian African tribal mask "Bagle", similar to another in our catalog; it is used as a form of entertainment, mocking others by imitating their actions.
A row of cowries is attached to the fabric in the forehead area, with lines of fabric also on the chin where a small beard of plant fibers is attached. The headdress is made of fabric with cowrie shells attached and several feathers at the end.
