THE UNCOLLECTIBLES
In my work I had to learn the use of AI, so in my dreams of collecting the bizarre and wonderful,
a huge and unexplored world of imagination has opened up!
Through complex algorithms it's possible to create entire collections of what I like to call -the Uncollectibles-,
because we can see them, admire them but not really own them physically.
So I opened my mind to the possibility of creating something visually curious but which I have never seen in reality, botanical models of unknown species, impossible dioramas, rare compositions of corals and minerals from other planets, never made paintings and artefacts of a non-existent past.
So I would share some of these objects with you here for the pleasure of seeing and imagining the collection of the Uncollectibles together.
This board is constantly updated, follow us to see the new uncollectibles each week
One day, during a stormy night, the Virgin Mary statue began shedding sparkling tears, which silently trickled down her face. The faithful witnessed this miracle and collected the tears, discovering that they transformed into small, glistening pearls.
The news of the miraculous tears quickly spread, drawing pilgrims from all corners of the world, and her statue was placed in a separate chapel, surrounded by display cases containing the precious pearls that had originated from her tears.
Every year on the 8th of September, the faithful adorn the statues with jewelry made from the pearls cried by the statue. The legend taught people about the deep empathy of Our Lady of Pearls and her love for humanity.
The pearls generated from her tears became a symbol of hope, purification, and protection. She became a beloved and venerated figure, invoked for solace in times of difficulty and comfort in tears.
He was known throughout the region for his extraordinary skills in working with ivory and coral, although he saw only dull shapes.
His workshop, hidden among centuries-old trees, was a magical place where his expert hands transformed precious materials into unique works of art.
Legend has it that one day he was struck by an extraordinary vision during a dream.
A mysterious messenger appeared to him, dressed in ancient clothes, who revealed to him the secret of life and death. The messenger asked him to create works of art that could serve as a reminder of the fleeting nature of life and the inevitability of death. Thus was born the artisan tradition of "Memento Mori" in ivory and coral.
The first Memento Mori he created depicted a human figure wrapped in a delicate embrace of coral, symbolizing the fragility of life. The work's eyes seemed to gaze upon the world with eternal wisdom, while delicately carved details highlighted the ephemeral beauty of existence. This work of art, called "The Awakening of Consciousness", became the prototype for a new series of creations that emphasized the duality between the beauty of life and the certainty of death.
News of the artisan's extraordinary creations spread quickly, and people from all over the kingdom came to his village to purchase a Memento Mori as a memento of their deceased loved ones.
His works became symbols of wisdom and reflection.
As time passed, the legend of the enlightened craftsman grew and was enriched with new details. His works were said to have the power to connect the world of the living with that of the dead, making objects not only works of art, but also channels through which the souls of the deceased could communicate with their loved ones.
He was renowned for his extraordinary collection of incredible creatures that seemed to hail from distant and unknown worlds.
People came from every corner of the globe to admire his remarkable chimeras, creatures that appeared to be the result of fantastic and impossible crosses. There was a chupacabra, the sea pig, and others that couldn't even be defined with anything familiar.
The Chimerist, an elderly man with a penetrating gaze, fervently claimed that each creature in his collection was authentic and originated from remote and untainted lands. He told captivating tales of his travels to uncharted places, where he had discovered these unique creatures.
However, there were dissenting voices among the people. Some asserted that the Chimerist was nothing more than a skilled creator, an alchemist endowed with the ability to blend living beings to give life to never-before-seen creatures. According to this version, his chimeras were nothing more than the product of his craft and secret arts.
Despite the discordant voices, the Chimerist continued to earn a reputation as an extraordinary man. His chimeras were not for sale, and his abode became a pilgrimage site for wonder enthusiasts and those seeking to uncover the truth behind these fantastical creatures.
It was said that these reliquaries had been created centuries ago by a virtuous monk known as Master Oculist.
The remaining specimens were very few, and the notes on their creation had been written in an unknown and indecipherable language.
The reliquaries were highly sought after for their ability to reveal the hidden truth behind appearances. People came from every corner of the kingdom to consult the magical eyes when facing important decisions or seeking answers to questions that the common world could not satisfy.
However, with increasing fame came greed. An unscrupulous merchant, attracted by the promise of wealth, tried to steal one of the reliquaries to sell it to the highest bidder.
But Master Oculist had foreseen this possibility and enchanted the eyes so that they could only be taken by those with pure intentions.
Thus, as the merchant approached with greed, he was suddenly blinded by a dazzling light and became blind.
The convent remained a sacred place, the guardian of secrets and wisdom open only to those who approached with sincere hearts.
The lesson of the story was clear: true power is destined for those who seek truth for the common good.”
In the heart of a primordial forest, far from prying eyes and curious ears, extended a land shrouded in an aura of mystery. Explorers referred to it as Eldoria, a name whispered in tales around the hearth, but one of which few had direct experience. The virgin forests of Eldoria were a labyrinth of towering trees and lush vegetation, where the rustling of leaves concealed ancient secrets.
It was during a daring expedition that a group of explorers discovered this pristine place. Passing through an arch of towering trees and crossing unknown streams, the group noticed what initially seemed like eggs of some tropical bird, but which differed greatly from one another in size, color, and even location. Some were buried underground, others hung from trees by delicate filaments, while others still blended among the pebbles of the streams; some emitted a faint light of their own in the dark.
Each of them contained an indescribable mystery, an intrinsic enigma that drew the explorers with an irresistible curiosity.
Driven by the desire to understand, some of the explorers decided to break a few, to better comprehend what they were dealing with. However, upon breaking the thin shells, small explosions of powder inundated their faces, and the travelers found themselves immersed in memories and visions, reliving moments of lives never known, enchanting themselves with impossible fractals, and embracing the wisdom of the virgin forests.
To this day, no one knows the location of Eldoria; the explorers realized, when they came into contact with the fumes of the eggs, that they could not and should not be taken away from that pristine place, and now none of them is still alive to describe its location. So, this remains a legendary place, although some collectors swear to have some of the eggs of Eldoria in their collection, not exposed to the public.
Legend has it that the Qinghua lineage possessed an ancestral secret: the ability to imbue the androids with Qi, the universal life energy. This process not only turned the androids into extraordinary works of art but also animated them with intelligence and consciousness.
The Qinghua artisans carefully selected fragments of decorated porcelain from the remotest lands of China, believing that each carried a unique story and Qi.The resulting androids were walking works of art, adorned with delicate floral patterns, scenic landscapes, and finely painted details on their porcelain surface.
The "Decorated Porcelain Men" became custodians of ancient treasures, protectors of sacred temples, and companions to emperors and artists. They could be distinguished by their craftsmanship—those more delicate and human-like were dedicated to imperial palaces, while sturdier ones were assigned to laborious tasks or exposed to the external environment. They were known for their ability to learn and adapt to the surrounding environment, interacting with humans and animals in surprisingly lifelike ways.
However, as centuries passed, the intricate art of Qinghua Xingren was forgotten in favor of simpler yet effective technological and mechanical machinery. The Decorated Porcelain Men became lost relics, hidden in abandoned temples, forgotten palaces, and remote caves.
It is said that the Qinghua lineage still guards its secret, hoping that one day balance would be restored, and their creation would once again become a sacred and respected art.
He was passionate about natural phenomena, particularly fascinated by the delicacy of snowflakes and crystallization. He had devoted much of his life to researching a way to preserve the ephemeral beauty of snowflakes so that they could be examined in detail under the microscope.
After years of study and experimentation, Dr. Winterbourne had a revolutionary idea. He discovered the formula to create a chemical solution that could preserve the crystalline structure of snowflakes without altering their shape or damaging their delicacy, even when exposed to high temperatures.
Thrilled with his success, the doctor began collecting snowflakes and various frozen natural elements during his solitary walks, carefully manipulating each crystal and gently immersing it in his solution. To further preserve these winter masterpieces, Winterbourne developed special microscope slides containing a thin film of his chemical solution. These slides allowed for the observation of the most intricate details of snowflakes without any risk of melting or deterioration. To enhance their beauty, he enlisted the help of local artists who depicted, through delicate miniatures, the places where these crystallizations were taken.
The story of Winterbourne inspired many other scientists to explore new ways to preserve the beauty and fragility of nature. His discovery became a symbol of how science could not only understand nature but also protect it for future generations.
The legend tells that one day, during a religious ceremony, a group of wise Maya shamans noticed a mysterious light emanating from the depths of the cenote. Intrigued by the vision, they decided to explore the dark depths to uncover the source of that divine light.
Inside the underground cave, the elders made an astounding discovery. Unknown skulls lay at the center of the cavern, each adorned with iridescent crystalline formations growing on them.
In the absence of an explanation, it began to be believed that these skulls were the conduit between the gods and the people, a means through which the ancient deities had chosen to communicate with the shamans.
We do not know what became of those people; to this day, we have not found their traces, and it seems they simply disappeared into nothingness at some point in history.
But over the centuries, some of these crystallized skulls were discovered and taken from their original location, ending up in the hands of wealthy merchants who removed the precious corals from them.
In the modern era, some of these ancient artifacts have been found in private collections scattered around the world. The crystalline formations adorning the skulls are considered unique jewels, guardians of an ancestral connection with the ancient Maya gods.
Many efforts have been made to return these treasures to their place of origin and restore the sanctity of the Cenote of the Spirits so that the connection between the divine and the human can be preserved for future generations.

A team of biologists unveils an extraordinary species of snakes with vibrant colors and dazzling feathers.
-February 28, 2039
Amazon Rainforest, Brazil.
In an expedition destined to explore the uncharted depths of the Amazon Rainforest, a team of biologists has made an exceptional discovery: a series of feathered snake species, a hitherto unknown species in the vast range of Amazonian fauna.
The indigenous tribes of the Amazon Rainforest tell ancient stories and myths often involving serpentine creatures, some of which surprisingly resemble the characteristics of the newly discovered Feathered Snakes. Quetzalcoatl, a revered deity in many indigenous cultures, is described as a winged serpent with luminous feathers symbolizing its connection between the sky and the earth.
As experts study these new species, surprising details emerge about their life and behavior. Contrary to expectations, the feathers on the snakes not only serve aesthetic purposes but also provide exceptional adaptations for survival in the dense vegetation of the jungle.
Similar to bird feathers, the plumage helps feathered snakes move silently through the jungle, and the hues of some specimens aid in perfect camouflage among leaves and branches. Moreover, it is believed that feathers may play a role in sexual attraction and communication among members of the same species.
Race for Conservation
The discovery of Feathered Snakes not only opens new scientific perspectives but also creates an exciting bridge between the mythological past of indigenous tribes and the present of biological research. This connection between local mythology and modern biology adds an additional layer of meaning to the already extraordinary discovery of Feathered Snakes in the Amazon Rainforest.
In a remote corner of planet Earth, hidden amidst the snow-capped peaks of an unexplored mountain range, there existed a secret ecosystem inhabited by a unique type of bees: the jade bees. These extraordinary creatures fed exclusively on jade dust, a rare and precious mineral found only in the depths of the surrounding mountains. The bees drew sustenance from the jade dust, transforming it into a brilliant green nectar, thereby producing honey of unparalleled flavor and extraordinary properties.
But what truly made the jade bees remarkable was not just their green honey, but the hives they constructed. Their hives were not simple wax structures, but rather intricate interweavings of jade crystals, turning the hives into living works of art, akin to mineral sculptures that reflected the sunlight in shifting colors.
When news of these wonders spread, scientists, artists, and collectors from around the world were fascinated by this unprecedented discovery. The jade bee hives became the subject of intense research and desire. Experts from every field flocked to the remote mountains, determined to study and capture these natural works of art.
Unfortunately, human greed knows no bounds, and soon some unscrupulous individuals began to plunder the jade bee hives, disregarding the delicate balance of the ecosystem. The hives were dismantled and taken away to be transformed into sculptures to be exhibited in private collections and museums around the world.
Despite the efforts of some environmental groups to protect the jade bees and their habitat, their population dwindled drastically, making the green honey produced by these rare creatures even more precious. Those fortunate enough to taste this extraordinary honey considered it a true treasure, an elixir of life promising healing and prosperity.
Today, the jade bee hives have become a legend, a reminder of a time when nature and art merged into a single wonder.
